Get Away

Josh & I went to see 'Get Away', the new film written by & starring Nick Frost.

Frost plays Richard who has booked his family vacation at a BnB on a remote Swedish island. Arriving on the anniversary of a terrible historical event. Add to which a serial killer seems to be on the loose.

There's some great laugh-out-loud "Brits abroad" comedy. And the folk-horror setting nods to films such as 'The Wicker Man' & 'Midsommar'.

Then the third act turns everything up to eleven with the kills coming fast & furious.

Glad I got to see this in the cinema. We both enjoyed it and had a lot of fun.
