Last time I was playing around with syndicating content to Twitter from here I still had an issue with when I added a title.
class="e-content" to certain parts of the content works great. But when adding a title it broke down and sent the screenreader text and post date along with the title and part of the content.
So digging into the code I thought, “What if I added that class to the
<h1> too? So the experiments begin. As did a lot of Googling. I kept trying to find where WordPress added the
class="entry-title" to the post.
Turns out…It doesn’t. That is hard-coded by the theme I’m using.
So I started playing around with adding that class to heading and posted to Twitter.
class="e-content" to the
<h1> now lets me post, with a title, and not worry about the tweet content being messed up.
